Le cercle du monde - Hobbes (2010)
Le cercle du monde focuses on visual representation of law and state, by the common power against the irrational violence. This is a reference to Thomas Hobbes (Leviathan, 1651) who leaves no doubt as to the absolute centrality of power relations in his scheme of human affairs.
Le règne des lois est vicieux. (Sade) Elles ne représentent qu'une force froide, sans liberté. (Blanchot)
